LOVE this particular location. I go every time I visit my sister who lives in Houston once a quarter and I always ask if we can "go to Luby's in Stafford?" each and every time. This location is a step back in time...it has the same look and feel of the Luby's of my past as a child going with my parents and sisters. All the employee's are super attentive and sweet...my food is always delicious and when I ask if I can have "extra tartar sauce?" with my fish, I'm given EXTRA tartar sauce....just like in "the good ol'days". Their cucumber salad tastes just like my Mom use to make...which means "great!".....if I could ask for anything I'd ask for them to bring back cold pea salad and STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE! Their Coconut Pie remains the best in the world.

I was raised on Luby's in Oklahoma and I always got the Cheese Steak, went into this one and they had it! It was just as amazing as when I was a child! Hubby had the Fried Fish and it's the same recipe from my younger years as well! If I wasn't just here visiting, I would eat here everyday! Will definitely be back before heading back to Oklahoma.

Good tasting, nice variety of entrees and vegetable choices. Pleased to find steamed okra choice and that food was not overly salted. Jalapeno cornbread at this location is the best.

This is a very nice Luby’s. The Salmon was great as always. The customer service by Avery was exceptional and I look forward to being served by him when I come back. My hubby always tips him upfront cause we know he’ll take care of us.

Nothing wrong with the simple, reliable cafeteria style eatery we know as Luby’s. They have been around for years; although most have closed down across the country. I’ve always enjoyed the menu, the Luann platters. The entrees and sides are always well seasoned and served hot. Prices have remained consistent through the years and I appreciate that. The line moves swiftly no matter how many people are in line trying to make their selections. This Luby’s has an efficient staff of servers and the waitress was helpful with our trays when we chose our table. She also promptly brought us condiments and made sure to check on us frequently. I had my favorite- the fried chicken, okra & Mac n Cheese. My guy had his usual - liver & onions, mash potatoes & spinach. We laugh because we always seem to order these same favorites but realized that if we visited Luby’s more often (not every 3rd month) we would likely order other entrees. However, these are tasty choices that we can always count on so why change? Overall our visit was great. The price was exceptional for a fresh delicious meal for two. Restaurant was clean and service was excellent as well.

Ahhhh.... Family time at Luby’s. Nothing like eating a fresh and healthy meal at Luby’s! We are the chicken fried steak, black eye peas, pinto beans and my son ate chicken fried steak, macaroni and okra. We will be here on new years for the black eye peas for sure! There aren’t many of these restaurants around after COVID, but this one made it. The food is great, it’s not cold and gross tasting like it’s been out forever, and the employees are so nice and friendly. All of them super happy to help, offer their advice on which meal is better, which side to pick from. I highly recommend this place if you want a great meal at a fair price. To many people like to do the meals to go or whatever.... I say “goto Luby’s and sit down with the family and enjoy being out.”
